Upon reading these fine forums, and trying to collect information I have been faced with what I would assume is a common problem. There are links to good books, documents, and articles written. I have noticed that people are using free services to post PDFs, Scanned Docs, Historical books, and word documents that upon the 3rd or more revisions are virtually scan upon scan, very far from the original. Maybe I can use my 13 years as a web developer to gather original sources, and use modern technology to merge the whole of the education. With a goal of creating a single philosophers stone. Not a single man can corner the entire market, we all recognize that, and realize that just in past times, there is even more so a realization that the knowledge must be spread. Albeit I realize that noone is going to hold someones hand, and guide every step of the process. I do however feel that a unified force can assemble the knowledge of years of experience and failure, lessons learned, and things better left unsaid can be formulated into a modern "Bible" if you so wish to call it that.
Given my experience with multimedia, HTML, and a host of other software/hardware related experience offer this.......
I have servers free of charge for hosting, I have the knowledge/knowhow to convert all things printed into digital format. With a little help from the generous veteran members of this board I feel I could piece it all together. Whether that be loaning me, with postage paid original works to be scanned and returned. Topics, ideas, theories, and other innovative intellectual property given proper credit where it is due.
I realize that this is a huge undertaking, but given the enormous amount of broken links, and unavailable files I could stream line the process. If you are willing to give a little of your time, and resources I could produce a single, cohesive, tome that may very well become standard reading. Instead of a mash of 4-16 links posted in a signature. This would also be my 4th book (written from a 3rd perspective.)
