Hello everyone.
I am a professor of English in Thailand.
The chemistry department in my faculty has graciously lent me the use of their equipment.
So in my free time, I have been trying to recycle catalytic converters.
I want to get platinum metal so I can use the electricity from solar panels to make chemicals.
(salt water-->sodium hydroxide + chlorine gas)
I need platinum electrodes and I'm too poor to buy them. :)
This is more fun anyway.

So, between Youtube (The periodic table of videos and MIT opencourseware), Wikipedia, and this forum, I should be able to get this right.

I have been referred to "Hoke" by a couple people in the forum, but I didn't know who he is or what book I should read.
I googled Hoke and came back with nothing.
Then I searched the forum and it seems like this is an old text book that is going to be really hard to get in Thailand.
I would love to read it though.

I am almost done watching all of lazersteve's videos on Youtube.

You can download Hoke's book, there are links on the forum somewhere.
Its been a while since I have downloaded it,so you can probably find the
link just as quick as I could. And Hoke is a woman (or was)
