No offense but you asked for tips, so here goes:
1) Be humble, overconfidence especially when working with chemicals can become dangerous very fast to you and those around you.
2) Punctuation is vital to conveying your thoughts clearly to others.
3) Spelling, especially when chemicals are involved, is very important.
