What would be the quickest and more economical way to render a metal hydroxide into said metal oxide?
Would heating or roasting be a likely solution?
I did a quick search on the forum but didnt find anything. Perhaps my keywords were not accurate.

Heating/roasting the hydroxides to oxides, then heating strongly/melting with a carbon source, like charcoal, flour or sugar.
That would probably be the cheapest route.
Especially if you had a bunch of old dead trees fall down in a recent storm.

Im sure, depending on the metal, that process could vary considerably.
