Please tell me what you think. I thought it was a broken sandstone slab. But to my surprise it was heavy and broken on one side revealing metallic patterning incased in copper maybe.

Hard to say without further information.
Where was it found, density and so on.
It looks like it has been cut/machined or similar.
If it is indeed metal, find a place and have it tested with a XRF.

It looks very interesting
and You will need further more testing
there is a guy in Canada that if you send him the pictures and Him can tell you if it is.
a meteorite or not.

I try to find info about that person
