I was looking at some refining companies and i came across this one. Mid-states Recycling and wondered if anyone has used them in the past and are they a good place to sell our scrap? thanks for your time.

I have dealt with their GM on a PGM lot and he was easy to deal with and I have several of my own customers that recommend him.

Sipi is the name in the area that does it, and some have had mixed results with them...

I've been using them for a while (sipi)...returns on regular material I've been shipping are coming back lower and lower...motherboards I sort so no problem on that...it's our other pcb and ic's that are out of wack....

SiPi and Midstates are both in Chicago but are not the same company. I do not know if Midstates processes e-waste or even samples and ships it out but SiPi definitely does process e-waste. From what I gather there has been substantial chatter on the forum about bad returns on the forum from members who have shipped to SiPi.

It would be unfortunate if someone were to allow complaints about SiPi prevent them from shipping to Midstates, they are separate companies.

I'm going to chime in also, I've dealth with SIpI and wasn't very happy with the outcome. bottom line. I'm looking for a reputiable company but you don't know until You deal with them.

any input would be greatly appreciated, I've about 5500lbs approx of boards from mobo, to servers to low grade boards, from crt, and electronic devices, mostly mobo,modems and high grade boards.
I've about 400lbs of cpu's from pin to pinless to ceramics,

Was told by sipi to toss them into My motherboards I would get higher return, which I thought was strange.. glad I didn't,

so any put would be greatly appreciated as I wished not to work with middle people on my boards any more.

A few people that I deal with use these guys for there PBC boards http://www.gannon-scott.com/. Don't know anything about them but all three have been happy with their returns and keep using them.
