Hi. I have been following this forum for awhile. I live in Las Vegas and do a lot of off road exploring. I have found some really out of the way places, especially around old railroad tracks. I have found and researched many different rocks and minerals. Large Quarts with very visible gold, and many different ores and minerals. I really would like to share these finds but not sure where or how to have these assayed. I have mostly more aesthetic maybe but there is real ore. Thank you for any interest or help in making my adventures worthy of the treasures I find. Fossils and meteorites are everywhere here also.

Unfortunately, the pictures are too blurry to really see anything. Not that I could tell you anything if they were sharper, but for those who might, I think they'll need better pictures.

There are some of my favorites. Remember this is a fun past time for me so if not something important, I'm not upset. I'm just fascinated by Earth's creations and Nevada has a lot of rich wonders. Once again thank you. Also I know a lot of secret non tourist places thathave old mine debris. To hat is what the last pic is. The slag from mines waste. Possibly gold bits. A lot of old train tracks that carried the mined ores, u can find nice pieces that fell off the loaded carrs long ago.
