At times I am not as kind as Jim. No one can read 67,702 posts in 9 days.

You have been a member for 9 days and if you read nonstop 24 hours a day that would be 216 hours without sleep or pee breaks. That would be 313.44 posts you read per hour while sleep deprived and not taking so much as a piss. For the curious that would be reading 5.244 posts per minute for 9 straight days, no breaks. Just for a reality check, if you were reading this forum as a full time job (without weekends off) 8 hours per day that would still be 15.67 posts per minute.

Yep, I can be an ***! However the reason why I like this forum is because it is grounded in reality and truths and not the wild hyperbole you see stated elsewhere on the net in reference to precious metals.

As a quick note to those that have written me by private e-mail and PM because of my apparent falling off the edge of the earth due to no posting by me here of late, I am indeed alive, though I have been lacking the time to read the forum in its entirety as has been my habit for the last 2 years (I will catch up), let alone the time in making posts that could require follow-up replies on my part to be fair to those whose threads I commented on. I see little point in sharing an opinion if I do not have the time to reply in a reasonable time frame in most cases.

Keep it real as well as honest people, otherwise there is little point in being here. I have little taste for false claims. This claim peeved me enough to post when I should have instead spent my limited time sharing ideas or helping someone with a problem.

Oz not every post on this forum is worth the time and effort to read, only about 15% of the total 67,702 are of any real value.

Even at 15% I may have been overly generous in my estimation.

I'm pretty sure he read mine, that's my line "on my way to 5 ounces". By the way, I'm only 10 grams away from that goal. I have the scrap, just haven't processed yet.

Welcome Joe!

Phil

In the past nine days I have had very little to do.
I have opened every topic and scanned those quickly that have little to do with what I am trying to do. Topic of direct interest I have read. I have looked for photos with instructions especially. ( I love to see the excited responses of newbies like me when they melt their first button and it gets me ramped up with ideas to obtain more of those thousands of free computers available in this government city).
Excited wording aside I have been looking for a simple method of recovering gold without harsh chemicals that you need an area 51 permit to buy. This forum has taught me how but more importantly these simple store bought chemicals appease the the all ruling leader of my great household nation - my wife.
btw there are no new red checkmarks on my view of the forum. I am that addicted to everyone's vast knowledge and wonderful questions.
so here is my question to anyone from Ontario and Quebec: Does anyone have a buyer for bulk lots of motherboards and circuit boards in this provinces. (and no I will not deal with the Nova Scotia scam artist but If I lived close I would do a spy misson for you guys lol)
joe
ps Oz I don't know you and since you have been gone so long I'm glad my post brought you back. Your post gives me the impression you are a person with a great deal of knowledge - respect to you

Too bad, I was in Ottawa three days ago!

Sorry, I can't help ya with electronic scrap, I always deal with karat gold.

Hi P3m
Nice web site
Is this a better profile pic
I did warn everyone about my sense of humour
btw do you accept motherboards and cards?
joe

yeah sometimes.
hey you know what gets some people
just say good morning not matter what time of day it is.
now that I am learning what where and how to get gold
it is a good morning

Oh yeah. For all those newbies with gold in the eyes, remember there will be grunt work envolved. I just finished pulling 1/4 pound of pins and my fingers are sore.

A little more about me. along with my many reptiles and other pets here is my girl Caspra enjoying the forum.
