Hello from the green mountain state!!
I am a father of two kids under the age of 3. One little girl who is 3 & one little blue eyed boy who is 16 months. I opened a pawnshop on my 28th birthday last June. Needless to say between the business and the kids I am pretty stressed but things are going good. I joined up here after doing some research on refining and I am interested in meeting people here who share common interests and have something to teach!! I specialize in numismatics and my love for coins led me to open my shop which in reality is pretty much a coin shop.I was also pushed into business by the worlds worste day job and the thought of being stuck painting airport runways in fridged October night time temps w/ 50 mile an hour wind in my face at age 50 not to mention the pension plan that would have probably been close to mature around the same time the united states finally defaults on its debt.... Anyway I have the shop and my kids and that's what I live for. I went to school for a bachelors in recording arts at a really expensive school when I was young & dumb and thought I wanted to be a rock star..... That got me tied up in about 50,000.00'wprth of student debt which I have close to paid off in full. If I could do it over I would never have gone to school for something as simple as sound but ya know what they say... Anyway , I have lived all over the country and parts of the western world and it has been a good time so far, lol. I joined the forums here because I eventually hope to refine and pour my own bars and out/off them myself. I am the type to try and do it all myself! But I can tell that refining is a very intensive process and will take more time and energy then I have at this point! I should also mention that I am a die hard red sox fan and have been my whole life. That's me in a nut shell, hope to learn as much as I can on this forum!!
