Hey everyone! My name is Marissa and I have a new found interest in precious metals after receiving my late great grandmother's coin collection recently. She had tons of old silver coins and some rare coins, but she also had two very rare .9999 gold coins that were only sold to residents of the town of Ridgeway, SC. They were struck from pure fine gold from the mine in Ridgeway before it was shut down in 2000. There were only 307 of these made. I ended up taking them to a coin collector shop and left with $3200!! I'm a stay at home mom of a 3 month old baby girl that is currently living with parents because I cannot afford rent where I live. B0ecause of those coins, I now have money saved up for a house and two of my loan debts are paid off. Now I have found a ton of old brick phones and beepers/pagers from the 90s and a friend mentioned that there is gold in old electronics. I know that this won't make me filthy rich, but it will get me and my daughter out of my parents house and into our own place. That's all I want from this.
