New to the Commodity Industry

Hello Everybody,

I'm Mike and I work for HiTech Assets out of Oklahoma City. We are an IT/Electronic asset recovery company that handles several large national accounts and many other accounts. We remarket most of the pc's, laptop's, server's and networking equipment. After remarketing the equipment that still has good wholesale value, we literally have tons of scrap that we do a minimal teardown. I have been put in charge of ramping up our commodity production to make it as profitable as we can within reason.

I'm new to the recycling side of our business, so joined GRF to look around and see what ideas I could find that might help me get all I can out of our recycling program.

You will have to spend alot of time here reading to find things to benefit your situation.

Just kidding, unless you really do need that kind of help.

Most of the forum here is for collecting and refinning Precious Metals(PM) but there is quite a few in the field that can process what you recycle instead of trashing it.
Look in the wanted and for sale and where to find PMs sections here while you wait for others to introduce themselves.

I'm sure there's more then 1 in the business enough to directly buy from you with paper work.

Not sure I replied to your post correctly or not, but thank you. I am doing a lot of reading here and some other sites. We are not going to refine anything here, but I possible could find some better buyers. I will take a look at boardsort.com.
