Greetings! I've been a huge fan of the Sreetips channel for a while and am finally gathering all the tools needed to try and refine silver in my own home. I'm fairly comfy with MOST processes, but using the acids will keep me moving slow and cautiously. For the last 4-5years I've been harvesting copper from any and all places where I can get it for free or almost free and I've used much of it for fun projects, and I am wearing a couple of those projects. Thanks in advance for sharing and your patience as well.

Welcome.

Here is a few links, they are most important for the ones that use chemicals but should be interesting for others too.

We ask our new members to do 3 things.
1. Read C.M. Hokes book on refining jewelers scrap, it gives an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining.
It is free here on the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=19798
2. Then read the safety section of the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/forums/safety.47/
