Hello to everyone. My name is Jim and I found this site while I was watching some scrapping videos.
I have been working for a company since 1984 that sells and installs telephone and computer systems. Part of my job is removing the old equipment to make room for the new. If it's not a trade-in and the customer dosen't want it, I get it. That includes their old computers also. I just got through taking apart 20 PC's that had Pentium 1 and 2 processors and 15 Dell's with Pentium 4's. I've been selling the steel, copper and aluminum because I don't have room to keep it. The boards are being separated and boxed up until I decide what to do with them. Until then I will continue to read and learn from the experts here.
Thanks

Welcome Jim to the forum,

If you plan on doing processing I suggest you download Hokes books and research this forum. All the information you will need is here and if you become stuck there are plenty of members who can help.

I too live here in TN the Knoxville area so if I can help you just pm me.

Good luck and always be safe when using any chemicals.

Ken

Thanks Ken
It will probably be some time before I even think about refining. In the meantime I have a steady stream of computer and phone equipment that is keeping me busy.
Jim
