Nitric salt dropping from nitric acid

So I want to distill my homemade nitric to make a
Stronger version when I began to heat my nitric
Low and behold white specks began to form inside
My flask chocked it up to minor contamination although
As it heated further I noticed my nitric acid has dropped a lot
Of nitric salt. Is this normal or have I done something terribly wrong?

Self-solving problem I suppose solution took the nitric salt back in once it neared boiling

if you are making your nitric with sodium or potassium nitrate then it is the sodium or potassium salts - which "may" dissolve with heat - but drop back out when cooled
