Hey, ladies and gents,

I am new to this whole idea of refining already finished used products back into the raw rare elements. What interest me most though is in mining its hit or miss in refining you know its there you just have to get it. I will be trying to gain as much knowledge as possible and start getting a set up going. My background is military and manufacturing. I am from Texas.
Feel free to message me if you would like. My biggest problem so far in the process is getting started with little or no capitol. If anyone has any ideas for starting a venture like this the hard way, no money let me know.

I look forward to reading all the posts and hopefully being able to put something back in to the forum that might be of some help to some one.

Best Regards,
Ross

Study as much as you can, it will cost you very little, and the knowledge will get you rich, maybe not in gold but understanding, and that is worth gold.

most of my equipment is house hold kitchen ware, bought from second hand stores, 25cents to 50 cents, I have found some good deals on chemistry lab glass a few years ago, but do not want to break them so they are still packed away in the same box I bought them in all brand new, someday I will try the fancy distilling rig, but for now my backyard distiller works great for me.

to save money when starting out, educate yourself, do not spend money on equipment, chemicals, electronic scrap or gold, until you have an understanding, you will learn what you need and how much to spend on supply's as you get further down the road.

Reading is easy and will get you further down that road.
There is a learning curve that will take a little time; it is easy to spend more than you need to when you begin this.

Watch out about getting excited on Ebay that can cost you more than you will get back.

I think you posted this question a month ago, and I have seen where you have been working on some material foils if my memory is right, and you seem to be very interested in learning, I do not think it will be long before we see you showing off some nice pretty gold buttons in the forum gallery.
Just do not spend much money until you learn to get them buttons.

Thanks, I have been, I think im officially a troll on this forum but not in a bad way. I actually have done the AP proses like 3 times but have not yet gone to the next level saving up to get a torch and some melting dishes. The people here are great and could not ask for a better bunch of people to learn from. Hope I can put in a fraction of what I get out of this forum. Everyday I am blown away by the knowledge shared here.

Best Regards,
Ross
