Hello Gold bugs,
Ive done it. I finished the precipition ,water wash and acid wash all if fine kodoos to lazer steve and his process. Now for the nezt step melting or is it smelting. Question is I have a graphit cruicible and oxy acentiling torch as in steves process ,with the graphite crucible do I still need to coat with borax and follow steve direction or can i omit the borax. the powder i have is a nice chocalate brown

Do not try to melt in graphite with a torch. Graphite absorbs way too much heat.

Use a fireclay or white silica melting dish with a slight glaze of borax as seen in my melting videos.
