I was reading another post about refining gold pins and Orvi replied with his speedier process. I have written down the process and am wanting to try it on gold filled jewelry and if there are any adjustments I need to make because of the different gold content of the scrap. I have never done pins but assume they have much less gold content

I may not have much time to engage in longer discussion, but I will try.
Also, I need to point out that I did not done much gold filled jewellery - and if we will tlak about applying my modification of classic AR recovery, I cannot give you any real recommendations about applying it to goldfilled., I can just guess and extrapolate

However, try to write it here, and I am sure that experienced members will chime in (if I won´t in near time) and check it out and you can go from there To be clear, most hobby refiners around the world use AR regularly, and my modification is not anything novel or advanced. It is just modified for maximal speed and convenience.
