This is a very noob question, I apologize in advance. I purchased stannous chloride crystals from LoudWolf Industrial and was sloppy at my measurement. I honestly eyeballed the weight to distilled water ratio. I have a very thick milky solution which seems to react very slowly but almost anything I test shows dark purple or brown after several minutes even with solution that I can’t believe would still contain gold. I also do not have a control solution for comparison (again, I’m learning :lol: )
Is there such a thing as having an over concentrated stannous chloride solution or is the concentration to the point it is detecting extremely trace amounts of PMs?
