Hello and good evening I am new to the forum
And could use a little help

I'm desperate
I explain my situation
I have solved gold fingers in aqua regia and everything is in solution. Unfortunately, I have made the mistake of mixing 3 parts hydrochloric acid and 1 part nitric acid therefore I have too much nitric acid.
When I wanted to do it with smb, that does not work. Then I put in more hydrochloric acid and I saw black precipitate. I gave a little smb and against black precipitation the natural was the same way.
I then warmed it up until the red smoke came around to denox I slowly added sulfamic acid until no more bubbly to see.
And let it a few days rest. Today I have filtered it and try it with smb to fell Unfortunately, no precipitation was more what I'm doing wrong

What does a stannous chloride test show?

How much weight in gold fingers did you start with?
There may not be much gold in small amounts of fingers.

Tin (II) chloride test. is positive
and I have about 200 gram finger

200 grams is only .44 pounds of fingers. If they are good quality
fingers your yield might only be .7 or .8 grams of gold which might be
very hard to see when precipitated.

This could be the main problem that you are having.
