Hi Everyone,
30 year old gold induced maniak!!!! Been reading alot on the web and have just finished browsing through the mc hokes book.....so thought now would be the time to introduce myself and say hi..
INTERESTS:- Basicly finding gold in scrap...before i even knew of refining gold i started collecting computer scrap.... unlike most people who claim to have 100000 mother boards and 500 kilo's of chips i only have 7 mother boards and maybe 1 kilo of computer chips......and about 6 old phone boards.....

not here to get rich but to enjoy the fact you can brings a natural mineral back to even a state that it may not have ever been... maybe that isnt true as i dont know to much about it,,, but that is the joy of it for me!!!!

Really hope the get to know everyone and really look forward to chatting and learning from this great page......thanks for all the info so far!!!!

Good luck with your endeavors goldking, I too am new to the forum and find it a wealth of pertinent information as well. Not feeling as though I have sufficient tenure on the site to give you a big ol' welcome, I'll just say keep your nose to the boards and do all that you can to keep your projects fun.
Regard, Lance

Welcome in, thegoldking!
I didn't have much to start with when I began in June last year - so I'm new, too! But, for me, the small amount of feedstock was a disguised blessing. It gives you reference points to identify the names of components, take representative samples [take VERY GOOD detailed notes as you go], run acquaintance experiments & so on.

I thought I knew what I was doing when I started, now I know I have a long way to go, but acquaintance & diligence has begun to pay off in this hobby. If I would have had access to alot of materials early on, I would have wasted/lost alot.

Good luck & hang in there!
