A photo may help. If I’m not mistaken a bridge rectifier is basically just a small series of diodes. Yea?

I have a couple handfuls of gold plated diodes so it seems possible I guess.

Depending on manufacturer and age it might have, but probably not a lot in any case.
A lot of power electronics uses aluminium bond wires as thick gold wires would cost a lot.

Incinerate a sample and examine the ash for bond wires, or just file it down until you see the internal connectors. Yellow gold, white aluminium.

No

General diodes dont have gold in them.

Shottky ones do. Other high speed diodes, like tunnel diodes (usually their encapsulation) and of course, gold doped diodes do.

But, when you say bridge rectifier, i think of a block containing 4 rectifying diodes ...because, well, thats what a bridge is. So unless its a super shmick high speed bridge (dont think thats a thing...) then its unlikely.

Just a boring old PN junction
