Hello all Insanity here,
Just making my way through the guided tour, have already read a good bit in here. So about myself, expanding on my post in the first thread, I'm in school for electrical engineering I'll have my Bachelors in about 6 months. Hobbies have all fell by the wayside since I don't really have time for that (full time school and full time work). I do dabble a bit in scrap metal on my break between semesters as a way to bring in more income, and had begun doing research on other ways to diversify my skills and blacksmithing/smelting came up, which led to me looking at my scrap piles and asking "I wonder"...
After a bit of research I found some refining videos by Moose Scrapper and IndeedItdoes, I've probably knocked their video views up a few hundred points by myself, there was a mention of Hokes book, this website and LazerSteves site, and so here I am. The good thing is the more I read, the more interested I get in the whole process.
Now I'm just in the process of formulating a plan of attack for my first step.
