Hi all

Find very very useful information about precious metal recovery on GRF thanks for all members and forum to support me

Now i am with new query about tantalum capacitor
I'm trying to recover tantalum from SMD Ta cap
There are two valuable metal silver and mainly ta. Silver on cooper coated and ta in
Tantalum anode like wire.
First question ta wire is pure or mixed with other metal ?
And second there is any valuable metal in tantalum anode or not

I’m pretty new to the game but from what I understand about tantalum capacitors, the black interior is a tantalum sponge. I believe most people save them and send them off to a refinery as is. The melting point is too high for a home refiner to obtain. I could be wrong though.
