Recover Gold from stripping liquid

Hi all,

I used cyanide dilute in hot water, then added some Hydrogen Peroxide to clean/strip white gold. The liquid foaming then turned brown.

I had collected that condensed (a bit heavy) brown liquid, but now I am not sure how to recover the gold strip out from this brown liquid.

I am just wondering if any of you could help me with this.

My approach would be to add a little lye warm the solution and add zinc dust and stir it well into the solution, the gold should precipitate out easily. Please note that this is only a recovery and if you want usable gold it will need refining and cyanide and acids are not something to be messed with unless you know exactly what your doing! :shock:
