Hi there, is there anyone here in the UK who could help me with refining my collection, i have quite a mixture but would probably refine down to about 1.5kg of .999gold. I also have enough silver for inquarting. Regards Col

With that amount opting for local refiner is the best what you can do. Sending material overseas would be expensive. Try to contact Nickvc he may do it for you or he can point you in right direction to some of his contacts.

Give me some details of exactly what you have and what you want in return and I'll see if I can sort something out for you, if it's karat scrap it's easy to melt and assay and get the bar refined, the options then is for fine gold grain to be returned, the cheapest route, or stamped bars which will cost more.
