Hello to everybody. First of all, forgive me for my poor English,not my first language.
I look this forum for year,and with more or less succes refining gold from electric scrap,strictly as a hobby.
I want to know if someone has expirience in refining LCD monitors,or LCD from mobitels.
It suppose to have reflection electrode on lcd that contains 99 % silver, and 1% gold, found in this article (look in attachment)
This forum is great ,best forum for refining, moderators have real exprience.
Manny thanks,and every comment be much appreciate.

It isn't worth the hassle to go after that small part of gold and silver...

ACA layer (thickness of 3000Å) which was vapor-deposited on the glass plate with the size of 20 x 20 mm square was put into etching test.
ACA = Ag 98%, Cu 1% Au 1%. 3000Å = 3000*10-10m = 0.3 um, with 1% gold it represents a plating thickness of 0.003 um, less than 30 atoms thick.

I don't think all displays have that reflective layer, it is part of displays which are readable without back lighting.
