Good day Refiners,

Could anyone please assist me with a method for removal of impurities from the list attached. The readings are Percentages

I’m assuming this material is from catalytic converters , the material reading is from your solution dropped with zinc and the readings are coming from an xrf , if this is the case then I suspect the gold and silver at least are not actually there.
To get a cleaner material I would start with a good HCl boil to remove most of the base metals then you can start to separate your values selectively but be aware PGMs are easier to recover in high concentrations and that you are producing highly toxic solutions and fumes.

Thank you,yes You're 100% spot on 👌, I suspect Ag & Au to be as a result of cross contamination from a previous batch of E-Waste.
Thanks for the advice, I will try it out. Luckily my buyer doesn't need PGMs to be separated and lastly, safety is my number 1 priority, all work is done inside a fumehood and suitable ppe worn. Thanks again Sir

You are more than welcome and test your solution afterwards as gold will dissolve with the right mix of base metals in solution
