For you guys and gals living in the city that have street sweepers, follow these machines to see where they dump the trash swept off the streets of offer your backyard as a tipping site.

Find out where the storm drains are located, then install carpet or blankets to capture the precious metals going down the drain. In my youth always thought about laying a large carpet on the river bottom downstream of Hells Gate, the mighty Fraser, well known for its gold.

After the spring freshen after the water has receded millions of moss covered boulders are exposed, weekender's harvest the moss. It's always a good idea to replace the moss after washing it out, be sure to vacuum to top of the boulder and any crevices you find.

It's quite interesting.

I read somewhere a while back that the French? reclaim the PM's from street sweepings.

The road dust will have more cadmium in it (from brake discs) than platinum, so handle with care.
