Hi GRF,
I have been a member for a couple of months and have now decided to get involved and introduce myself.
I am currently living in Victoria, Australia and work in construction.
It all started with basic scrap metals scrapping as a hobby and means to make a little extra cash. I still do this.
At present I am mainly stocking up components. I sell my motherboards and CPUs but keep everything else in the hope of one day refining some of it.
I am slowly reading through Hokes, but it's quite heavy going. I read a lot of stuff from this forum as it is easier and helps explain and put into context elements of Hokes.
I live in a city so some of the more toxic processes will never be done by me. I am happy to slowly build up components and then one day toll refine...though I have read a rather interesting post on melting mylars with MAPP gas for small silver recovery. I will need to read more on this but if it does prove to be relatively straight forward I might give it a go when I am more educated.
Anyway, thanks and goodluck to you all who managed to make it through my rather lengthy introduction.
