Solder on Boards?

I have looked all over this site and I have seen very little information about the PM contents of solder (silver?). Please forgive me if this info is somewhere on the site and I have missed it. Does anyone recover the solder from their boards (power supplies have lots of solder on them), or is it just not worth it? If so what methods are used/best to remove the solder?

solder is made from lead and tin (60%/40% usually). There is new lead free solder, not sure what that's made of, but certainly not silver.

there is silver solder available, but you won't find any in powersupplies, sorry :-(

I use lead free solder with Tin/Antimony from Kester (95%/5%).
