Good day to all of you here .
Short intro about me :
Yesterday I took some of my gold scrap to pawn shop for a quick loan and later at night came across a video on YouTube about the guy growing silver crystals in electrolytic and it got my proper attention , so I decided that I must get a knowledge and do it myself .
This must be a sign from above :)
Guys , simple question : How do I start ?
I have no experience with chemicals , but I have experience in following guidelines .
What is actually a best productive and profitable method in precious metal refining based on your expertise ?
Thank you guys

Welcome to us.
We do not want people to follow guidelines per se.
Our wish is that our members understand what they are doing and why things happen.
So we try to teach the members to fish in stead of giving them a fish.

Here is some study material for you.

We ask our new members to do 3 things.
1. Read C.M. Hokes book on refining jewelers scrap, it gives an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining.
It is free here on the forum: Screen Readable Copy of Hoke's Book
2. Then read the safety section of the forum: Safety
3. And then read about "Dealing with waste" in the forum: Dealing with Waste

Suggested reading: The Library

The best, most productive method depends on what material you plan to process. There is no one best method to do everything. Follow Yggdrasils advice, then post the material you have and your planned method of choice. We (the forum) can read it over and give advice based the material and methods of choice. In between reading Hoke and the posted threads, take a look across the forum, you will find a great many questions that have already been answered but sometimes we just don’t comprehend the answers and still need help.

Welcome to GRF.
