stripping of platinum

Could anyone tell me the best solution for the stripping of catalytic converters of their platinum?? I have read alot of things here on this site about the subzero product and it sounds to be quite a scam? Any thoughts by anyone on this ? i have alot of hydrocloric is adding clorox and heating it a good way to go? thanks

I reccomend to leave the cat intact
and use a mechanism + basket for raising
and lowering into solution
