Thought this might be interesting for some of you that have Ta capacitors on stock.

It says here that as of late 2010, low end prices would be around 50US$/lb (end of the article), going up to 85$. Prices seem to undergo massive changes since it is a very tight market with an annual Ta production of approx 2000MT only, mostly used for capacitors.

Attached is also a pdf about the recycling of Ta.

'Uhm... i just saw that jhonny309 posted on tantalum capacitors earlier in 2012. Hence, maybe just remove this one for i think he added the same document.

Sorry for the double post, didn't see it.
