The HCL and Peroxide solution..

I've read mention of it here and there on this site, but haven't seen much.. am I missing the link to the proper post or can someone give me the lowdown on how to mix/use this?.. I'm wondering if I can use it to clean up the precips from my electro cell before metling.

A) what are the ingredients? (I have HCL, but for the peroxide, are we talking drug store grade or the really dangerous industrial stuff)

B) mix ratios?.. (and which one goes into the other.. I know mixing in proper order can be important)

C) typical uses?..

The 3% stuff is what I use.

2 parts HCl: 1 Part H2O2

Use it on anything that is plated.
