I wanted to share a discovery I made on a Google books read.
I found an industry mag from the 20's and found some very interesting material in this 735 page publication (WOW 735, and they didn’t have word processing back in the day)
page 13 - The Disposition of Silver and Cadmium. I am considering to prospects of refining some silver and along with my plans to consult the pros here I am also looking elsewhere and found this article by Charles H. Proctor informative on some historical and technical facts on silver.
Also noted should be a comment made to the editor by out own C.M. Hoke – on page 372 she wrote in to the editor contributing her input on a "shop problem" relating to dissolution of quicksilver from mirrors.
I have just found this one edition and will look for more as I enjoy reading about the history of my hobby. I’ll share links to anymore that I find.
I hope others find this as enjoyable as I do.
Good day.
