Wanted to thank every 1 for all the great post.I've been reading as much as possible scince march.Ive done a batch of cell phones in ap,deplated the boards striped the mask and processed,most of my gold floated and ended up with a little trash in my filters not much.I just put them to the side till i get more info on cleaning up the floaters and filters.any way my names Joe, 30 years old with 3 boys 12 5 and 2 they love tearing down towers,im a construction materials teinging tech i check the soils asphalt concrete ext.. that are used in roadways and buildings,i have acess to an asphalt thesting lab with a fume hood im gonna use on my ar once i get a grasp on other tecknics i they using some for better filtering.This hobby is great just hunting down scrap is fun (for some reason all my craigslist ads get flaged).Im down here in houston tx ,if any one's from houston i coud use some info on good scrap yards for my scrap metals and low grade boards.I have about a pound of fingers from cards and a pound from memeroy ram,can i do them together or would it be best to just get more of each nand do sepret ? Don't feel bad, I don't do craiglist no more for the same reason. Just the competition, they're not happy... oh well, we elsewhere! :mrgreen:

You can do the fingers together, I've done them with no problem.

Thanks Phil.I did my fingers like in Steves ap video . I processed 900 grams of fingers i ended up with 4 grams of foils. does that sound about right? I figured i got a little in the solution that will come out eventualy with more processing or smb.

Looks great, Joe. Keep those kids safe, especially your 2 year old. I babysit my 2 year old granddaughter, and know how inquisitive she is. Therefore I’ve decided to postpone any refining activity until she is older. I don’t want anything ugly happening to her. Take care. Jim
