I'm 30yrs old married with 3kids under age 12, I live in Pennsylvania, USA. I'm am Customer service Associate in technology retail most recently, general scrapper by nature. hobbies are hunting, fishing, and beta testing video games. I've been involved in IT fields of study and work sense before graduating highs school and as a scrapper by nature after taking all of the basic metals off of a wide array of items I have always set aside the electronic boards figuring I'd get back to them at some point. I have finally decided to get back to them and found my self at a loss as to how to retrieve and process the various precious metals with in them having the basic understanding of chemistry learned many years ago in college I figured I'd do some research which has lead me here. I have gotten the recommended books from here and intent to study them vigorously while separating the various components of all the boards I've accumulated in the past 15yrs, not attempting to refine any of the components until I am confident in my ability to due so and have gotten the proper PPE and other equipment needed. I expect I will be spending a great deal of time on the forum reading the vast collection of information generously provided here.
