Hello everyone, I'm Tom. I want to start by thanking everyone for sharing the immense amount of knowledge on this forum. I was searching google for places to shop for Karat gold (thrift stores, goodwill) and hit a link to Lazersteve's site. I was so intrigued by the idea of mining gold from old computers and things that i spent three hours or so watching all the clips and reading everything. I live in Georgia around the Dahlonega area so as a kid I panned for gold. As I got older, got married, had kids etc. I lost touch with my inner gold bug. You guys have sparked a fire in me like no other! I look forward to delving into the alchemy of this hobby and soaking up the information in these posts. Thanks so very much, everyone!
