Hello, anyone have any filter recommendations for extremely fine gold particles dropped from military connector pins. I am currently using coffee filters and am Now up to 25 coffee filters for maybe 3 grams of gold. The particles are sooooo fine it’s get through so easily. Have never run into this problem.

I use whatman #2 papers. For really fine particulate ( probably not necessary for what your experiencing) I use whatman #6 papers

Have you boiled the powder in HCL? That should clump things up some. You could also re-dissolve the gold and precipitate it in a more concentrated solution.
