Hello All,
Does anyone know what make of machine this is....? Saw one on ebay, good price. The owner would not let me know the make or how it works. He said there was a patent pending and if he said anything he may get in trouble.....lol.

What I see in the picture looks like a homemade power supply, (two round transformers, and a rectifier bridge), and possibly a DE-plating cell.

Links or better pictures would be helpful, but I do not see anything special here.

Hi Guys, Here's a link.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121129331674?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Thanks for any input.

I agree with butcher. There is no make, brand or manufacturer. It just looks like a home made stripping cell. You'll find plenty of information to build your own here on the forum.

It's a simple gold deplating cell. You just add battery supply and sulfuric acid, usually in the form of drain cleaner. I bought one of these before I found this forum. I've never used it though. Looks pretty suspect. You can see guys using cells like this on Youtube. Plus the guy selling them is known to give out misleading info. These are good for deplating- plated parts but little else. He told me I could use it for Karat gold which I found out after is not the case.

If you look around on the forum you can find plans to build your own. Likely would be cheaper and safer that way.

Hope that helps.

Edit- After checking the link I see this is not the seller who sold me my cell. Although it is identical. That being said, I'd like correct the above about seller being misleading. Don't want to slander some random guy.

Cheers
