I have been offered sterling for 90% of spot. As much as i'd like. Is this a good deal? Would it be profitable to refine?

Sterling is only like 92.5% silver, so I would say no.

90% spot of the actual silver weight.

If by actual silver weight you mean 100 troy oz of sterling is actually 92.5 troy oz of silver, and then paying 90% of that (paying for 83.25 troy oz of silver)?

Then yes, I would take that deal. But that's just me.
