i have never have had the chance to deal with cpu's before . i know a lot of you guys deal with these because i read about it all over this forum :D .

so my question is that im looking at some AMD cpu's to buy and im wondering if there worth it or not , so does any body know about what the yield would be for 1 pound of those cpu's ?

thanks in advance .

Donald

Can you be less specific?

intel 775 and AMD other than that i have not a clue .

if you could just give a guess at it that would be great . that would give me some idea as to what im looking at .

says about 20 cpu's per pound . theres 7 pounds worth so that means about 140 cpu's total .

Pictures would probably help somewhat, since AMD has manufactured CPUs for some time now. There is a pdf floating around on this forum that can give you an idea of what you might expect with respect to yields.

Donald your question is impossible to answer. It's like asking how big is a rock? Or, what is the yield from Intel CPUs? AMD has been producing CPUs for decades. They've probably built dozens if not hundreds of different models, and the yields would all be different from model to model, not to mention the differences within a particular model.

My best guess would be somewhere between a little and a lot. :( Sorry I can't help more.

thanks friend . wow that really helped out a lot .

One has to say that all lists have problems, some are way over stated while others under and in truth the only recovery data you can rely on is your own, this is due to several reasons one of which is the skill of the person doing the recovery another the change of specs on the same item or where and or when it was made.
Unless you are running large batches of the same item it's all a guess and those that do have paid to learn so will not share willingly.
For a rough idea look at the buying prices offered,
