Hi! I'm not sure this is the right tread to post but I wanted to share my experience with the direct flame cupellation.

I'm using ordinary household items to perform it: simple propane burner, kitchen measuring spoon and dry portland cement.

Any chance I could lose values if heating too much ?. No, if you stay below 1000 C on the lead.
Anything am I missing ?. Always something is missing.
