Next question I got a bunch of these with some relays. Ripped them open and instead of silver contacts low a behold I find wires…sure looks like gold to me any opinions on this?

What you call “wires” is the contact group of this device.
take a file or nail file and rub them.
Most likely it is gilded silver.
you will see the white inside.
but in theory it could be a palladium alloy, or even a platinum-irridium alloy, or even a gold-nickel alloy.or maybe nickel silver.
you can do a torch test - take a bite and try to melt a piece....
photograph objects from all sides, this makes it easier to identify the object.
The manufacturer's logo seems to be on the end.

The gilding (at least) is good there.
I saw that such gold-plated parts are made by "quartering"....
