I made a couple mistake dropping silver metal from siler nitrate:
1. I mixed the silver nitrate solution too strong - near saturated solution strong, not thinking about the exothermic nature of the reaction, (distilled water) and;
2. I added my copper dust WAY too fast.
I did a stoichiometric balance, but forgot the reaction is mildly exothermic, which isn't so mild when you have the surface area of copper dust and a concentrated AgNO3 solution, it boiled over a little, released some NOx.

Now, my liquid solution is greener like Cu(OH)2 more than blue like CuNO3, with a fine white/green powder along with the silver powder.

What am I dealing with? A silver salt or a copper salt?, how to get it into solution or otherwise separated from the silver powder?
