Whats the best way to proccess cell boards?

Do you trim the excess pcb? Like you do with fingers

And is AP the best way to remove the gold? Then aqua regia?

Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks for the help,
Big D

No trimming necessary. I would soak in hot(not boiling) HCl to remove solder and components. Run boards through AP. Filter out gold flakes. Soak flake in HCl again to remove any remaining base metals. Filter, rinse with water and process in HCl/Cl. Pretty much the same as fingers except for removing components and junk metals off boards. Try to remove as much junk metal as possible prior to first HCl soak.
