I came across this tidbit today and wanted to share:
"A team of researchers led by Professor Hiroyuki Yoshida of Osaka Prefecture University and Sharp Corp have developed a new technology that enables the reclamation of approximately 95% of the indium in a LCD."
http://displaydaily.com/2009/10/30/can-industrial-research-turn-indium-green/
And the Wikipedia write-up on indium:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indium
Indium currently trades at around $250/lbs on the spot market.
