Platinum material contained a lot of junk that was very corrosive on the crucible.

Conclusion is... Don't trust blindly on what your client tells you about their scrap. :/

I've been running a pretty high fever and been about as sick as I can remember so at least other people see it.
 
I swear I see a skull in the mold. Anyone else see that or is my sinus infection making me crazy?
Wonder what destroyed a crucible like that...
Maybe the clown took a bite of the crucible, that’s why he’s still there, he did not take it too well and had to stay back😏

For the serious part, some salt left in the powder have had an pyrochemical reaction with the metal in the crucible.
Which salt, might or might not be known by the client.
