Hi Folks, my fume scrubber is complete now and ready for testing, I am using a 5 litre sealed reaction vessel with a 10mm pvc hose leading to three 3 litre erinmeyer flasks filled with glass beads and a fourth flask with distilled water to check ph this will lead to a mazzei injector attached to a large centrifugal water pump going in to a 200 litre water tank with an eductor, my question is the first three flasks I plan on using a Sodium Hydroxide Solution but not sure what the concentration of Sodium Hydroxide to litre of distilled water should be to neutralise the nitric acid fumes, Ive been reading through the forum and cant find a definitive answer, any advice would be much appreciated, many thanks in advance for any answers
