Here's a simple experiment which seems to work for stripping gold plating on gold plated, oddly shaped objects yet limiting the amount of stripping fluid required to cover the item.
I used a 1 gallon zip lock bag to contain the working fluid with object to be stripped, partially submerged in a water bath.
I also included a stir bar inside the bag.
This is probably not novel but it was to me.
Hopefully it will be of some use to others. I welcome any feedback.
